Cosmetic Bonding

Bonding refers to a procedure used for cosmetic shaping and filling cavities. The material used is called “composite resin” and is a resin/ceramic material that is putty-like when applied to the teeth then hardened and polished to a lifelike appearance. It is very versatile yet lacks the permanence of porcelain restorations. It is the primary material used for fillings and a wide variety of cosmetic applications.

Tooth colored fillings allow excellent esthetics and durable restorations for cavities

Cosmetic bonding allows even very large gaps to be closed and look natural. The front 4 teeth in this instance were bonded and reshaped, done in one visit with no anesthetic
